What Clients Say
We’re privelidged to work with some very special clients and people. Below is a small sample of those we’ve worked with on major projects and what they’ve had to say:
E&MS was commissioned to design and deliver Morgan’s centenary celebration weekend held on Cheltenham Racecourse. This included venues with engaging content internally and externally across the site, a large open air stage with tribute acts, last night of the proms and fireworks, and a spectacular Gala Dinner for 1000 guests featuring gourmet cuisine, Morgan cars “flown” from the roof of the venue, speakers, music and dance.
“Thank you so much for managing such a fantastic show to celebrate our Centenary at Cheltenham. Afterwards someone said it should have been live on TV an when I apologised to Richard Hammond that it was not Top Gear Standard, he thought it was better!
The main thing was that everyone thought they got more than they paid for! Many, many thanks to you and the team”

Following design and project management of technical installations for The Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse, The E&MS Team ran production operations in the venue for a number of years. This covered sound, lighting, stage systems, rigging and drapes.
“Pete – many thanks to you and the team for all you did to contribute to the outstanding success of this year’s festival. It was not without its challenges and I was enormously grateful for your patience and mental agility! Throwing in a fashion show at 10 days notice was fun to say the least – and accomplished beautifully!”

E&MS was commissioned as production management for Europe’s largest Open air Theatre in Scarborough, delivering production operations for their summer season. It involved building and running the Total Fabrications temporary stage structure, overseeing rigging, sound, lighting, stage management and logistics, the team delivered shows from Elton John, Dame Kiri te Kanawa, 80’s rewind, Scarborough Fair, n-dubs and a host of other artists.
“E&MS was extremely valuable throughout our season of events and it was an absolute pleasure working with them. Reliable and extremely personable, Pete & the team adjusted to every situation and worked under pressure on a number of occasions without letting this affect the job which needed to be done. I very much look forward to working with them again in the coming future.”

E&MS was commissioned to re-locate Greenbelt Arts Festival from its site at Dean Park in Northamptonshire to Cheltenham Racecourse, having located and presented the venue as a viable alternative to overcome their serious site problems at the time. Once located in Cheltenham, the E&MS team delivered all site and production services, taking a key role in the management team that has then grown the event from 4,000 attendees in 1999 to over 20,000 today.
“Peter is a hardworking and extremely knowledgeable and experienced event manager. Easy to get along with and work with, he always delivers to deadline and makes a positive contribution to whatever project he is involved in. He is unflappable, despite the stresses and strains that can often occur in the world of events – a quality that is much-needed in his line of work. He always gives more than asked to his work, adding a value beyond the contractual. He is a safe, creative and dynamic pair of hands when it comes to event management”
- Paul Northup, Festival Director, Greenbelt Festival

E&MS were brought in by North Yorkshire internet to provide operations and technical support for their “Opera to Schools” project. The project saw their fast internet digital platform being used to hold master classes in Yorkshire schools led be leading international musicians over an internet link, proving 0% latency as that is the only condition that will allow musicians to play together on such a platform. The event culminated in a concert at the National Railway Museum in York featuring The Parliamentary Choir and the South Bank Orchestra.

Since 2003, The E&MS team have worked for LINC to deliver large Gala concerts both in open air and concert hall venues featuring Jose Carreras, Bryn Terfel, Dame Kiri te Kanawa, Lesley Garrett, Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson, The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, Alexandra Burke, Rebecca Fergusson and others. Our role in delivering these shows that are still on-going covers production, logistics, communications, consultancy and all aspects of event site services.
“The Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy Fund (LINC) has used the services of E&MS on many occasions during recent years. Whether a large event featuring international artists or a small fundraiser, I would have no hesitation is asking E&MS to provide all the necessary infrastructure. From outdoor concerts to Carnivals I would recommend them – they are professional, reliable and fun to work with.”
- Dr Gill Rouse, LINC Director
