Welcome to the World of E&MS

Event and Management Services was created on 1st October 1997 by founding director Pete Allison.

Having spent the previous 16 years since 1981 in the professional touring industry as a lighting designer and latterly a production manager, Pete was approached in 1996 to take on a full event management role for a significant annual event client and also a bi-centenary celebration and conference for an internationally based client, all of which took the business into new and broader territory.

Since then, E&MS has grown and developed, forming into two distinct and separate divisions that operate and present themselves in very different ways. These two divisions we have called:

E&MS - Events and Festivals

And

E&MS - Brand Events and Communications

In both cases, we deal with one off or regularly repeating events and are happy to be discussing a small, intimate conference and dinner for 20 in a discreet location or an open air event with lecture theatres, exhibitions and festival styled stages with attendance of up to or in excess of 20,000 people.

There are no assumptions made that others in the family of businesses will supply services to our clients as a part of our engagement, however we find that the strategic relationships more commonly help give a depth of specialist understanding in certain complicated areas which then brings a huge benefit to the whole team.
